GOVERNMENTAL PROBLEMS

Where does one even start to repair the damage when a natural disaster has destroyed their entire lives? It takes a lot of generous, hard-working people to rebuild the lives destroyed by such an event. Our government doesn’t seem to put a whole lot of emphasis on disaster recovery unless it’s in regards to government-related data or property. In fact our government these days seems much more interested in making war with other countries than they do with repairing all of the much more pressing problems common people face every day. I was told earlier that it’s important to remember that the government is not something any of us should ever depend on because the government is a system. The only thing that each of us can ever depend on is each other. This is just the opinion of one person, but I see a lot of merit in this position. I think we should always be able to depend on each other, and each of us should be willing to go that extra mile out of our way to help someone in times of crisis. So many of us have at some point had to deal with some kind of loss, and if it weren’t for the generosity of those around us we couldn’t get through those hard times.
