HISTORIC CAMPAIGN
I got the event tickets in the mail today for Barack Obama’s upcoming speech in Chicago. It should be very interesting, and I am looking forward to it. I read his book, The Audacity of Hope, and really enjoyed it. I think he is a very intelligent human being, and very charismatic. I think that the fact that he is so likeable will really help him in his bid for the vote against Hillary Clinton. Although most of the people will be at the speech because they support Obama’s policies, but I am really just excited to see him speak. His campaign for the presidency is sure to be a historic one, and just to be able to witness a part of history is exciting for me. Years down the line, I will be able to say that I was there to see him in his historic race to what could have the Oval Office as the finish line. I have never seen a president speak before, although one time I saw Jimmy Carter on a cruise. I also saw George W. Bush throw out the first pitch at the Chicago Cubs versus Cincinnati Reds season opener a couple seasons ago.
