I hope I am not going to need a personal injury attorney in Florida next month when I go down there on vacation that is also amazingly enough, a work trip.  My friend Zack and I are heading down to Florida for the Langerado Music Festival, which is located one hour west of Fort Lauderdale at the Big Cypress Indian Reservation that was made famous when the jam band Phish played a new years run there.  The headliners this year are REM, the Beastie Boys and Phil Lesh and Friends.  I heard “Losing My Religion” on the radio the other day and got really excited to see REM.  They are a band that I never really thought that I would see live, but I sure am glad that I am going to see them now.  Since we are both journalists, we were able to obtain press passes for the festival.  It is pretty exciting for both of us.  We have gotten the chance to interview a couple of the bands that are going to be at the festival in order to write a festival preview for our magazine.  It is also going to be really nice to escape all the cold and snowy weather to get down to sunny Florida for a few days.
