UNPAID HEALTH CARE COSTS
One of the first issues that come to mind when one finds out that they have diabetes is affording diabetic supplies. People also have to figure out how to eat right, and organize an exercise regimen. But one of the things that is most intrusive about diabetes is the sheer cost that builds and builds. Aside from the doctor and hospital bills, all of the medical supplies that one needs add up. The lucky ones have insurance to help them with all of their costs. The unlucky ones have to rely on family, and the kindness of others, and sometimes even that is not enough. I am lucky that I have good heath insurance, as well as a supporting family. I know that if anything ever happened to me, god forbid, I would have that to fall back on. It really means a lot to me to know that I have a family that cares very deeply for me. I had some problems my freshman year of college, and my family supported me throughout them. It really helped me to deal with my issues knowing that I had their full support no matter what happened and no matter what I decided.
